A horse with a fantasy twist, charlieD was born in a cave on the backside of a sinisterly saccharine mountain. He awoke to the sight of a blood-crusted dagger and a dull ache in his hind quarters, but these setbacks did little to stunt his maturation. After stealing an iPod from a nearby villager, he spent his evenings listening to tunes and studying the distant stars, eager to unravel the mysteries they contained. Determined to find a life more satisfying than a typical beast of burden, his sense of purpose became so pointed and tangible as to physically manifest atop his head. He was finally ready to create.

Down from the mountain he began to tread with clear focus and whimsical disposition, undaunted by the task set before him. He copied the contents of his iPod to a computer and blended the files into something new and magical. The original style of the source material didn't matter; pop divas, hard rockers, funky drummers, and conscious hip-hoppers all found a voice in his magnum opus. By the time he finished, he had crafted an instrumental beat tape, a collage of self-expression, a statement of identity without a microphone.
